What is a Group Horse and what is it’s purpose?

A group horse is a horse owned by the EquusBallator group, for the use of the members. Basically, they are here to have fun with and help newbies get started! All group horses can be used for showing and and most can be used for breeding for those who do not have an EB yet or would like to add some new blood to their herd. Every time a group horse is drawn, it gains stat points, which betters it for the whole of the group.

You may only rent 1 group horse at a time.

How do I rent a Group Horse?

Breeding Rental

An admin will comment back to you, approving or denying (or informing you of the date the horse's current renter will be done), and you will be given a date by which your rent will be over. You then must complete payment for the horse within the first 4 weeks of the rental; the remaining two weeks provide a window for you to send in breeding note.
Group horses are not typical in the way that they are not up for stud to the public, they have to be rented. Group horses can be used for breeding ONCE per user, ONCE per rent. This means while you are renting, you may only have one foal from the horse.

Every group horse has a different rental price; some are free and others cost art.
Fertilitea may NOT be used with group horses.
After you have finished using the horse, you must comment HERE to complete your use of the horse. Not doing so may result in your account being unable to use a horse in the future.

Show Rental

If you would like to rent the group horse for use in a show or competition, you are free to do so! Show Rentals follow the same rules as Breeding rentals: You must complete payment for the horse within the first 4 weeks of the rental; the remaining two weeks provide a window for you to show the horse, or if you complete your payment early, you can of course show it as soon as your payment is approved.
You may treat the horse as your own during this period. Enter it in any event you like! A maximum of two people can rent a group horse for showing at once, but not in the same competition. Under no circumstances are you allowed to kill or harm the horse in any way for story purposes.
After you have finished using the horse, you must comment HERE to complete your use of the horse. Not doing so may result in your account being unable to use a horse in the future.

Application

Comment HERE to apply for a group horse. You must fill out the following form:

Purpose: (breeding, showing, etc)

Minimum and Maximum rental times:

Minimum rent time is one week, and maximum rent time is 6 weeks. If there is no waiting list, you may re-comment on the RENTAL comment stating you would like an extension. An additional 3 weeks for payments and 2 weeks for slot use, (5 weeks total) for the slot or horse to be used, will be granted if the extension is approved.
It is your responsibility to manage your group horse rental time; you will not be notified of your approaching due date. Our Current Rental Document will show you exactly how many days you have remaining for your rental. NOTE that for breeding rentals, the DUE DATE on the Sheet is the date by which the payments must be completed.
Going over this time without noting us of the reason will result in us giving you an immediate closure of the rental for the first occurrence; any time after that, and you will not be able to rent a group horse again.

Reminder that if you are on the waiting list, you will be notified on your rental request comment when your rental is ready. If you do not respond within the week, the horse moves on the the next person.

Group horses must have a one-week cool down period after each breeding.

Finished Group Horse Payments

Once you are done with your payment, comment HERE with links (not thumbnails) to all required payments. An admin will approve or deny and then you will be authorized to use the horse.

Completed or Terminated Group Horse Rentals

Comment HERE. Specify which horse you used and use the correct form on the comment thread.
You must notify the group when your use of the horse is complete. In case of breedings, the breeding admin may comment for you, but please check the thread in case.
